Proyecto: Inmigración
After conducting some research and watching some political debates, each 5th grade group wrote a persuasive paragraph using grammatical concepts learned throughout the year. Students used verbs "ser", "estar", 'tener", possessive and descriptive adjectives to express their opinion regarding the controversial topic of immigration.

Students shared some of their daily activities using present tense conjugation of the following verbs: to eat, to sleep, to play, to practice, to read, to walk, to run, to work, and to wash/clean.

With "StoryBoardThat..." website students illustrated what a typical day in their lives "looks like." Fifth-grade students' work is displayed in front of their Spanish classroom.

Dictado Corrido: Dictation on the Run
Students practiced the use of adjectives as they reviewed units about "Los Sentidos" and "La Familia" with a running dictation activity. A member of each group would read a story and tell it to their group members so they would rewrite the story in Spanish. When activity was completed, students edited each other's stories.
